Subject: A Good read
Gebb and his crabby "mentor" Parge [a foreshadow of Nero Wolfe?] are an unlikely team ... not great detectives ... but in the end the "case" is solved.
Thanks to MaryAnn for a very good reading.

Subject: Good story, excellent reader
A woman is found murdered in a yellow room. She seems to have no past, and no one knows where she comes from. Detective Gebb is called in to investigate, but he soon learns that this woman is no ordinary person. She was the key witness against a man accused and convicted of murder some years ago. He also learns that the man had escaped from prison and sworn revenge against the woman who testified against him. Is the murder a simple case of revenge, or is something else behind it?

I enjoyed this story. It was not a edge of your seat story where I felt like I could not put it down, but it was good and I was looking forward to the next opportunity to listen to it.

The reader and recordings were likewise good. Enjoy!
